Mentor(Friend)

A Mentorship Model consists of two living parts.

• One is hands on - by experience. This is systematized specific to each context (business, family, organization, etc.), continually changing and shifting. 
• Two is a written design that is crafted with principals for a person to engage, meditate upon, embrace (or let rest till ready) and experience as living opportunities. This is a beginning for laying a foundation.

Mentorship is a relational walk between two individuals - One of trust and dynamic in manifesting steps taken. 

A person must experience in order to understand - This comes naturally through each person’s own journey. Below are two forms you may utilize for personal use within your family, organization or company. 

• Our first form will show a simple list, inexhaustible, where one may engage principles/ways of life, promises anticipated and understandings/awarenesses that will come as one continues on.
• Our second form will be a written model of mentorship beginnings that a person may use in any context. 

*I'd like to note that when a person embarks upon a journey of mentoring, teaching or training another through a process they have not developed themself, it carries little weight. The process may be entirely sound and ring true to the ear, but it is our own journey of transformation that shows our life, words and practices to be powerful and effective. There is reasoning behind this*    

As others interact with me - engaging in life together - it may appear as teaching/training that is happening(and it is okay to wear this hat), but it is more of a stirring so we may see what is already within.

A person who teaches and trains begins in a place of talking to or at Another. Through development this person moves into Living by example and then further more, the development of character will take this person into one who leads, trains and teaches by how they respond to the one they are mentoring and raising up - Coming full circle into speaking and doing, but always from responding.

In regard to traditional education, I did attend college with a focus upon behavioral psychology. I also attended another college for leadership and theology. As I intentioned myself to continue on in traditional education I found myself being drawn into a more holistic and mentorship approach. 

In every season of life - no matter the stint of time - I found myself surrounded by professional educators, psychologists/psychiatrists, scientists, business owners, artisans/musicians, attorneys, mystics and those I could never even speak of for these mentoring relationships are sacred and profound. I feel as though I have lived many lives within this little life I have lived thus far. 

I have also found myself awakening in an eternal place(this we can discuss further face to face) and this has multiplied the impact of my every day life. Exponentially. 

As we contribute into the lives of Another, they will contribute into our own. People need an outlet for expression and growth. My motivation is to provide this on multiple platforms and in numerous ways.

• One way is a pragmatic platform - website, event/gathering, etc. - as a hub for connecting, expressing, acknowledgement, affirmation and belonging.
• Two is being present in every way in order to walk with Another in their moment. It may be a hug, a hello, an encouragement, a suggestive insight... and deeper, in order to help minds, emotions and self to process and question. To explore and discover.

There is an old model that speaks to what business relationships look like(not only business). A hierarchy of development and authority. This model leans toward two groups of people - those who are naturally gifted with skill and personality(which can be developed even further) - and those who are adopted in through nepotism - or cronyism in the context of business. This isn't wrong in the truth that it is just a way of being and so a way of operating. But, there is another way. 

This way invites us to come side by side in a more horizontal stance, as well as acknowledge our beginning is more of a dot that expands rather than a dot that forms an upward or downward linear line. With this expanding comes greater capacity to steward what is presently in our hands.

Let me outline this foundation a little further.

A human is gifted, is skilled, containing personality and has a Spirit that is ready to grow and naturally develop all other parts of self. A person can live off of personality, skill set and gifts without growing in Spirit. But our identities become wrapped up in what we do. 

Our coming along side one another in a horizontal stance is our place of living from wholeness and worthiness, from abundance. We already have and there is no need to work for - the having I speak of is Life. 

Our dot, our beginning, is us resting side by side as one people. As a dot. 

Our expanding may only truly manifest through Spirit - and as this happens we see and are aware from a place that expands and touches everything just as a ripple in a pond would. Except this ripple - Us - never ends. 

Every single venture we put our hand to expands as we expand. This is the truth of Everflow. It came from our inner-being. 

So, rather than authority increasing, it is more about our ability to steward what we hold that increases; For we gaze through eyes of understanding and awareness increasing as we expand and increase.

This foundational reality is where I live from. As we connect and you have a vision for what is next for you - this can be anything - I will come along side you in collaboration, question, insight and wonder, providing you platforms to engage and grow. However deep we go will be determined by how deep we go!
